MEAS420 - Linearity Measurements - DC to Daylight

This course covers the basics of linearity measurements for devices concerning electromagnetic quantities such as voltage, power, attenuation, etc. from DC to optical frequencies. Linearity of mechanical devices will be covered in another course. When one measures linearity, one is trying to determine how far a quantity that depends on another deviates from one being a linear function of the other. This is a basic course that covers some of the basic concepts, and covers the measurement of linearity at RF and microwave frequencies in greater detail.

This course assumes some basic knowledge of electrical measurements at DC, AC, RF and microwave frequencies.
