MEAS253 - Measurement of Ionizing Radiation

This is an introductory course on ionizing radiation. It is basically a broad overview. There are three major sections of this course. The first deals with the types of ionizing radiation, the second with the units used characterize the radiation, and the third an overview of some of the instrumentation.

The course assumes some knowledge of calculus, namely the derivative, for one derivation given in the course but that is not crucial for most of the material in the course, and one can complete the course without that knowledge.
