This course covers the topic of finding a "best fit" line through a set of data. This course assumes some basic understanding of uncertainty analysis, differential calculus, and statistics. The calculus required is minimal, primarily the concept of derivative and finding the minimum of a function.
This course requires basic understanding of calculus, and is intended for those who are tasked with implementation of linear fits, or those interested in the underlying theory.
