ANT120 - The Friis Transmission Equation

The Friis transmission equation is used to predict the coupling between two antennas under the assumption of free-space and far-field conditions. It can be used to predict the coupling between a transmitter and a receiver, it can also be useful in the calibration of antennas or field strength measuring devices.
