Uncertainty Training

Join the LearningMeasure.com mailing list

LearningMeasure.com is all about measurement, and uncertainty is an integral part of every measurement. The basics of uncertainty analysis is crucial for one in the metrology field, but it is also of importance to anyone in measurement and test. All measurements have an associated uncertainty, and if the uncertainty is not understood, a the result of a measurement may lead to incorrect conclusions.

In addition to our uncertainty courses, there are much more available courses that cover specific areas of measurement and test, as well as the theoretical underpinnings. We have courses in engineering, mathematics, instrumentation, programming, calibration lab practice, and other fields that are relevant to measurement. If you are interested in seeing what courses we have to offer, click on "Courses" in the menu above.

If we don't cover a specific area that you have interest, we thrive on feedback of our customers letting us know what specific courses that you would like to see us develop. Many of the existing courses exist here because of customer requests. We also have the ability, through our network of consultants, to provide live training if desired. The timing depends on whether a live course already exists, or if a new course has to be developed from scratch.

Cost and Payment

The most often asked question we receive is "How much do your classes cost?" We are a subscription based service with access to all the courses for a subscription price of $5/month/student. When you sign up, you will be billed by PayPal $5/month for a period of 1 year. If you are an employer who wants to get several accounts for your employees, we will send an electronic invoice after we have discussed how many students you would like to have accounts.

PUNC - The Uncertainty Analysis Program

  • MATH51 - Applied Statistics for Calibration Technicians
  • MEAS101 - Introduction to Measurement Concepts
  • MEAS110 - Basic Measurement Concepts
  • MEAS111 - Inspection, Measurement, and Test Equipment (IM&TE) Specifications
  • UNC101 - Introduction to Uncertainty Concepts
  • UNC102 - Basic Uncertainty Analysis
  • UNC103 - Intermediate Uncertainty Analysis
  • MATH110 - Introduction to Complex Arithmetic
  • UNC210 - Uncertainty Analysis of Complex-Valued Measurands

This program is a subset of the ASQ CCT preparation program concerned only with uncertainty and uncertainty analysis.
