PPERL - The Perl Programming Language

Perl is a very useful programming language. It is very good at system level tasks, as well as for web programming using the common gateway interface or CGI. Perl is a very flexible language, it is easy to learn the basics, but it has advanced features as well.

This program consists of the following courses, that we recommend taking in the following order:

• PERL101 - Introduction to Perl
• WWW101 - Creating a Web Presence
• WWW102 - Basic HTML
• WWW104 - Intermediate HTML
• PERL102 - Basic Perl and CGI
• PERL103 - Perl, Forms, and CGI

The HTML courses are included because a basic knowledge of HTML is necessary if one is to be writing Perl scripts that will be used for dealing with web forms, or web programming in general.
