MATH110 - Introduction to Measurement Concepts is complete. This is part of the in the measurement training series.

When completing this course the student should understand the following:

• What is a measurement?
• Why do you measure?
• International standards on which this course is based
• Basic understanding of the following terms
  • Metrology
  • Measurand
  • Measurement Equation
  • Traceability
• The basics of the SI system of units

This is a relatively short course, but this course is the foundation for many of the measurement and uncertainty courses found on this site. This course does not have any prerequisits and does not assume a technical background of any kind.
