INST400 - RF and Microwave Devices and Instrumentation

This course is a follow-on to EE104 - Introduction to RF and Microwave Concepts. With an introducton to the concepts associated with RF and microwaves, we continue on with a survey of some of the main RF and microwave devices and instrumentation. It is our intent that this course will actually grow with time as more individual courses are brought online. The course will also cover concepts that are associated with each of the topics covered. For instance, introducing the concept of directivity when describing directional couplers. The following devices and instrumentation will be introduced in this course.

It is assumed that EE104, or the equivalent material and prerequisites are understood by the student before attempting this course. This course is intended for both technicians and engineers getting into the RF and Microwave field.
